5 Essential Dog Training Tips Using Doggie Dippers™
April 19, 2023It’s a fact of modern life that few of us these days have time to spare to entertain our dogs. We know they’re happiest when they’re playing with us, on a long walk or chasing balls and sticks, but with so many other demands on our time and resources, our pets are often low down on the priority list.
There are plenty of clues to tell you that your dog is bored. It may be digging up flower beds, chewing shoes or barking for no reason; especially difficult if you are trying to work from home. But there are, guilt free, ways to keep them challenged and entertained while you get on with the daily grind. We’ve chosen a few tips to keep your mutt amused.
Cover a licky mat with our Dip ‘n’ Bitz. Creamy peanut butter spread covered with crispy, crunchy healthy toppings, no sugar, salt, palm oil or Xylitol. All our products are made this way, guaranteed. Repetitive licking is known to have a calming effect on dogs and it will keep them occupied until every last crumb is gone; and it will last even longer if you serve it straight from the freezer.
If you have a secure garden, crush up some of our Peanut Paws into small pieces and let him see you widely scatter them on the long grass. You can include small, chopped vegetables too and watch him sniff them out. All our products are made with selected natural ingredients so you can be sure he’s being nourished and entertained at the same time.
Make a homemade ball pit with an old kiddie pool and lots of plastic balls. Sprinkle some of our dog treats into the pool (no water) and add peanut butter to a few balls and watch him leap in.
Train him to play hide and seek with his favourite toys or biscuits, in the house or garden. He would always rather play with you, though so let him join in with your Yoga exercises, it could be fun for both of you.
We’d love to see some of the ways you use our products to keep your dogs entertained. Feel free to send your photos and videos to frosty@happymuttcompany.com and your pooch could become the star of the show.
